Recruitment for UVISA's clinical trial in Odense has ended

We have reached the required number of enrollments for our clinical trial at OUH. Symptomatic women have been offered our drug-free solution that treats bacterial vaginosis and vulvovaginal candidiasis.

This trial helps us evaluate our new device that uses light therapy to treat vaginal infections, instead of antibiotics or antifungal medications, in less time.

This study is registered on ClinicalTrials.gov under the identifier NCT06985433 where you can find full protocol details, eligibility criteria and site contacts.

"In our work as gynaecologists, we see the impact of vaginal infections on a regular basis. We are excited by the prospect of having a drug-free solution, as current medications cause many side effects and add to the huge problem of antimicrobial resistance"
